Day 17 - Birds on a Wire

After the long day and late night yesterday, we took things easy today.  Our only objective was to visit the flower and bird market near Notre Dame.  As bird fanciers, we were interested in seeing what the weekly Sunday market had to offer.  Perhaps our expectations were a bit too high, but the sight of so many birds in such tiny cages was disheartening.  Maybe it was that we missed our own cockatiel, Shadow, but it just wasn't a fun experience.  There were many varieties of birds and they were interesting to look at but we didn't see many transactions taking place.  Hopefully several of the birds found happy homes by the end of the day.

Had a nice lunch on the way home and spent the afternoon getting info together on London.
